First  Lady Woods, is a Woman of class, grace and excellence are just a few characteristics of First Lady Stacey Leontine Woods. She was born to Pastor L. A. Kennedy and Lady Ann Kennedy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is the second child of four siblings – three girls and one boy. She moved to Houston, Texas in 1972, when her dad heard the voice of God to relocate the family. She graduated from Forest Brook Senior High School and received an associate degree from University of Houston (downtown Campus). While moving to Houston was her greatest fear, it turned out to be one of her greatest moves in life. On August 20, 1983, she married the love of her life, Pastor Lawrence E. Woods, and they had two handsome sons and two daughters in love, DeLawrence &Courtney Woods and Brandyn & Aisha Woods. They have Five grandchildren, Jayda, Caleb, Easton, Caleb and Elijah and we can not overlook her precious poodle Princess.

Lady Woods has operated in a ministry of excellence for over 30 years under her dad, Bishop Dr. L. A. Kennedy’s leadership, and she has also observed the graciousness of her mother, Lady Ann Kennedy who has walked circumspectly as a first lady and a true woman of God before her. Because of her parent’s rearing and direction, Stacey has dynamically served in such areas as the Mass Choir, Ministers & Deacons Wives, and the Praise Dance Ministry. She also served as the Church’s Administrator for 10 years, Director of the TQM (Total Quality Management) Team as well as a New Member Orientation Teacher. Whatever the task, Lady Woods can be found being about the Father’s business in the ministry. Her experiences in church protocol, genuine spirit of love and unity, and natural leadership abilities has afforded her a marvelous opportunity to make a powerful impact on the lives of God’s people to help bring to pass the vision set forth by her husband.

On September 19, 2010, at the pastoral installation of her husband, her awesome journey to fulfill God’s purpose in her life began. As this new chapter comes alive, First Lady Woods, God’s servant of impeccable style and grace, is walking in victory and ushering the body of believers into the abundance of next level living: a level full of love and prosperity through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

First Lady Stacey Woods has a special anointing to challenge women not to settle for mediocrity.  As she faithfully supported her husband, her burden for women’s ministry grew in intensity. For Women who have hidden treasures within and a hunger to fulfil their divine destiny. Out of that, Free to Become Women’s conference was birthed.  She has a divine passion for young women; First Lady touches lives with whomever she comes in contact with in a genuine, powerful and inspiring way.  First Lady is also passionate about outreach and works with the Breast Cancer Awareness Association.
